How To Tell Which Political Party You Should Vote For 😅
Teaching What School Doesn't

👋 Hey guys - Noah here, coming to you with a SECOND newsletter this week! (I know 2 in one week, you are lucky)
In today’s edition, we are looking at
🤷 How to tell which Political party you fit in most with - using this cool tool!
✅ Everything you need to know about how to vote
💸 A cool money tool I’ve been using
⚠️ This is not me telling who to vote for!
❌ This email isn’t a pitch for “why you should vote for my preferred political party”.
✅ This email is simply a lesson, teaching figuring out which party aligns most with your worldview.
I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not really into Politics. 😅
2 days ago when I heard UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced the election for the 4th of July, I was like…
“I have no clue who I’m gonna vote for - they all seem as bad as each other!”
You might feel like me too.
People often feel clueless when understanding what each Political party offers: especially with all the noise from political social media campaigns. 🥴
🙋♂️ How to to tell who YOU want to vote for.
You could just vote for who your parents vote for…
Or you could vote for who everyone else on TikTok is telling you to vote for. 😂
But in reality - you should vote for the party that most aligns with your actual values. ✅
“But Noah, I don’t like any of the parties. They’re all terrible!”
I get it. There are tons of messed up politicians in each party. The whole system is broken in many ways.
But surely it’s better to vote for the least bad party than none at all?
To easily discover which party aligns with your views, you can simply…
Take 5 minutes to fill in a simple online survey. 💻
I did this using this site here. ⬅️
Now you may not have an opinion, or be able to answer every question, but try to just give it a go.
I did it, and I’ll be honest the results surprised me. I had no clue which party to vote for 😅
*obviously I won’t vote for Count Bin Face 😅 But it’s hilarious how he was the best fit!
Bonus Tip:
If you still can’t face voting for ANY of the parties, you can simply spoil your ballet. This basically means scribbling on the piece of paper, instead of choosing one of the options. A spoiled ballot is still included in the statistics and if enough of them happen, it could lead to a new form of change? Who knows?
🤔 How To Vote?
You can find all the main info you need here.
The main things you need to know are you must be over 18 and that there are three main ways to vote:
In person at your polling station
By post (that’s what I’ll have to do as I’m in Canada!)
By applying to have someone else vote for you

👀 Why Should I Vote?
Young people tend not to bother voting when it comes to elections, but older generations do! 😅
In the 2019 UK General Election, turnout by age ranged from 40% to 50% among the youngest voters (18-24 years old) to over 80% among the oldest voters.
In short… why would you want the older generation to decide what happens to the country?
Some of these results this year could be close. Like very close. 🤷
So choosing to make the effort can lead to big changes.
But it’s up to you, if you don’t feel it’s for you - fine!
