When it comes to making money with side hustles, everyone tries to overcomplicate it…
Genuinely.
When I was younger, I thought starting a side hustle to increase my income was a really complicated thing… I thought I’d have to:
File an LLC
Spend ages making a website + logo
Build a whole app or website
But despite what you likely think - that none of that matters when getting started. This is a BIG lesson I wish School had taught me about making money for myself.
If you are like most people, you likely think that launching a side hustle is a big complicated thing.
Before you’ve even made a single sale or got your first customer, if you’re like most people, you’re likely focusing on unnecessary things like…
“I need to get the right business software”
“I need to file as a sole trader or register a business”
“I need to find an accountant + plan a big advertising campaign + pay for local press + blah blah blah”
I used to think the same as you might, until I realised you just have to:
begin before you are ready. ✨
No parent EVER feels ready to have a child. No one ever feels ready to ask out someone they are falling for. Excuses will always drag you down.
So when starting your side hustle, don’t worry about the big stuff.
Let’s say you want to start a website design agency - you could either
A) Spend ages making a website, with sales funnels, file your LLC, spend three days on your logo…
B) Find one person who needs a website made, and make it for them today
Which one will get you to your goal faster? - B because it is the smallest + most simple first step to take.
If you want to get your hustle going, don’t overcomplicate things. Start in the simplest way possible.

My Example 🙋‍♂️
When I started my Car Washing side hustle, I could have spent ages on a logo and a website. Instead, I went to the shop, bought some cleaning supplies and starting knocking on doors. Within a day I landed 3 clients who eventually became repeat clients.
Had I faffed around with LLCs and all of that cr*p, it would have delayed me SIGNIFICANTLY! You can focus on the technical things later (when the time comes).
