A Stranger I Met Turned Into A Lifelong Friend
Teaching What School Doesn’t
A guy I met doing a TikTok street interview became a lifelong friend… 🤝
Over 2 years ago I stopped this random American family on Carnaby Street in London and asked them to be in a public interview for my TikTok.
This family agreed and after the interview, I asked where they were from as I noticed the accent.
They told me they were from Dallas and it turned out I was already gonna be heading to Dallas in just a couple of months for the conference VidSummit!
I got their number, and when I came to Dallas, we hit it off. Monti, in particular, took my girlfriend and me to our first high school football game, and a bunch of other cool places.
Now every time in back in Dallas Texas I try to link up with Monti. He’s a great guy, an awesome Christian I look up to. Last time I was out there he even dropped me back at the airport - what a guy!
One key thing Monti has taught me is “Do it right do it light, do it wrong do it long”. He is a professional sports coach and teaches this to his players. I believe this mantra can apply to every aspect of my business as a content creator.
This is your sign to put yourself out there and say hello to random people. You never know, a stranger could turn into a complete friend! ❤️
If this hits home, let me know by replying “🔥” to this email. I’ll be replying to everyone :)
