😬 £9000 for Car Insurance?

At this point, it feels like Car Insurance companies are just out to get us…
This was just one of the HUNDREDS of comments on one of my recent TikTok videos about insurance for younger drivers.
Last year I personally paid over £2K for my insurance (tbh compared to what some people pay, it’s not the worst 🤣).
Yet this year, I have THROWN myself into learning about how to beat the car insurance companies at their game.
If you haven’t already seen it, I released an awesome guide to show you how to save money on car insurance: check it out here!
But in this email, I want to share 5 more, awesome tips I have found, to help you save even more on car insurance...
1. Pick a BORING car
When choosing a car, consider both the purchase price and insurance costs…
Insurance rates can be higher for cars that are popular among young drivers, like the Ford Fiesta or Vauxhall Corsa, due to their higher accident rates.
Opting for a less popular, more "boring" car model can lead to lower insurance costs.
Consider models like the VW UP, Toyota Aygo, Fiat Panda, or Kia Ceed for more affordable insurance (these are seen as more boring 🥱)
2. Get a Manual Driving License
On average insurance for those with just an automatic license is up to 50% more! That is crazy… 😢
Yes, most modern cars are automatic, but in general, I’d say it’s worth putting in that extra bit of effort to learn manual.
Plus the price of automatic cars is going THROUGH THE ROOF.
I don’t want to offend any automatic drivers reading though, so let’s move on to the next tip… 😅
3. Learn how to reword your job title
A job title plays a BIG ROLE in how “risky” they view you as a person. Insurance brokers use thousands and thousands of pieces of data to work this out.
If you can, try wording your job in a way that makes you seem as “non-risky” as possible. Play around with a few (very similar) job titles to the one you have.
It’s also a smart idea to do this with any “named drivers” on your policy.
(According to Money Saving Expert) the highest-risk job titles are these:

4. Seriously consider your named drivers
Adding named drivers onto your policy is one of the ultimate ways to lower your premium.
But you have to do this wisely.
Make sure the named drivers you add are seen as SAFE. They should have lots of experience + no motoring accidents or convictions.
Most people add their parents but don’t forget you can add anyone you know.
So if you know some people who have better driving experience (i.e. other family members or friends) add them on instead!
I personally added my Girlfriend’s Dad on to my policy!
As a bonus, they can drive your car whenever they want to too!
5. Don’t get a Black Box (unless…)
Using a black box can reduce your insurance costs if you drive carefully, stick to your mileage limit, accelerate gently, and always obey the speed limit.
However, any signs of risky driving, such as speeding or harsh acceleration, can increase your policy cost.
Moreover, some serious things like greatly exceeding speed limits or violating curfews could lead to your policy being cancelled.
This could make you seem riskier to insurers, resulting in higher future premiums.
So only opt to use one if you can trust yourself… 👀

👀 What I’m Liking Right Now
Unlimitd AI 🤖
My friends started a new company to simplify selling clothes online. 🛒
Just send a photo of your clothing item to their WhatsApp, and their AI will list it on top reselling sites like eBay in just 20 seconds. You'll receive a payment link once it sells.
It’s a genius way to quickly declutter and make some extra cash! 💸

My £0 - £1000 eBay Reselling Method Came In Clutch 😆
This past weekend, I gained a bunch of items worth £100s to resell on eBay and Vinted for free! 🤑
These items included a PS4, expensive perfumes (unopened), Apple products and more. And no I didn’t steal these. 😅
What I did was partner with someone. I help resell their stuff and in return get 50% of the profit.
Here’s what my living room looked like when listing it all…

I have a full course on EXACTLY how to make an extra side income with the “partnership eBay method" inside my Skool community.
